A new bait barge for LA Harbor - THE BOUNTY

HI Bob, I hope all is well. Here’s the new bait barge for LA Harbor. Open for business at it’s temporary location, berth 57, just west of the main channel in San Pedro. She will be on the mooring just outside Cabrillo launch ramp within two weeks. For now we’re selling bait from berth 57 though. We have sardines as of now and are working on a daily basis to load her up with anchovy and sardine.

Please help get the word out. I’ll buy you a beer or two.

Trump West on the Fortuna - a Late Report

A very late report from San Pedro
Fortuna trip with some of the boys from Bob's Sporting Goods

It started out as a Barrie Trip out to the Horseshoe Kelp, then we turned our attention to Trump off PV.





A beautiful day on the beach with Calicos bitting our frozen squid-sicles off the slider rig. John managed to get a couple nice ones on the white hawaiian popper gimick overloaded with a gob of squid. The squid was so heavy, it sank out the "get up" to the downhill current.
